My computer needs repairs. Who do I call?

Is there a charge for this service?

• Yes, Netbuilders will charge a $70.00 fee just for showing up. Additional charges may be incurred if the system is no longer under warranty, and if their technician finds any other problem(s) during their visit.

Who is responsible for payment?

• Each school is directly responsible for payment. ERS will not pay for this service. Mill Levy Technology funds can be used for computer repairs, but careful consideration should be given between repairing an obsolete computer and purchasing a new one.

Speaking of warranties, how long do they last?

• The standard warranty period on most Dell and Apple computers is 3 years from the date of purchase.

We've decided to purchase a new computer rather than repair it. How do we do it?
