Replacement Bills

The replacement bill is the last notice generated by the system when an overdue item reaches a certain level (age). It is the third, and last, notice generated for an overdue item. Like Overdue Notices, bills are sent to you automatically every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Unlike Overdue Notices, billed items are only emailed once, so make sure to save your billed items emails to make sure you have a record of them.

How Do I Print Replacement Bills?

  1. Highlight the body of the bill email. You can do this several ways, for example: right-clicking in the body of the message and choosing "Select All" from the drop down menu, or (left) clicking once in the body of the email to highlight it and then hitting the Ctrl-A key sequence to select the entire message.
  2. Hit the Ctrl-C key combination to copy the information in the email.
  3. Open Microsoft Word.
  4. Paste (Ctrl-V) the bill information into your new Word document.
  5. Now you need to change the margins of your Word document so that the bills will print out one per page. To change the margins, in your Word document, go to the File menu and choose "Page Setup."
  6. When the Page Setup dialog window appears, set the Top and Bottom margins to .75 inches, and the Left and Right margins to 1 inch.
  7. Click "Ok" at the bottom of the Page Setup window, and then save and/or print your bills.
