Professional Development

The DPS Curriculum and Instruction department has answers about Professional Development qualifications for salary increases and professional licensing on their website.

ERS Course Certificates

To receive credit for ERS Courses you attend please make sure you sign your name on the attendance sheet(s) provided during each class. A Certificate of Completion will be sent to you from ERS within 10 days. If a class spans more than one day, the Certificate will be issued after the final day of class. Certificates of Completion issued by ERS Support are issued only once.

ERS Inservice Information

Approved "Inservice" courses require class Certificate(s) of Completion from ERS and a completed Form DPS-C including the required fees to DPS. An approved Inservice course is one in which the instructor has submitted form DPS-B to Human Resources and has received an Inservice Course Number from DPS. Inservice courses are explained in more detail on the DPS website referred to above.
